Pineapple Polish "Hidden Gems" trio review

Today I have three gorgeous polishes apart of Pineapple Polish's "Hidden Gems" trio to review.

Pineapple Polish was created in 2016 by Jessica Drew.
I have been obsessed with nail polish for as long as I can remember and as I was introduced to indie nail polish, I had a desire to create my own unique polishes. All my products are 8-free, cruelty free, vegan and hand-crafted in Australia with love. - Jessica Drew.

First up I have "Tourmaline", a stunning coral pink polish with scattered blue glitter and a gorgeous shimmer. This polish was opaque in two smooth coats. Application was effortless as it self levelled well and had a great brush size. It had a perfect formula that dried very quickly.
Tourmaline is such a unique polish! The pink base, shimmer and glitter come together perfectly, leaving a stunning finish.
This polish will be released on Pineapple Polish's website on Boxing Day for a special of $5, however after Boxing Day it will be the regular price of $8 (either way it's a bargain!).

Next up I have "Amethyst", a beautiful amethyst purple polish with scattered holographic glitter. This polish was opaque in one-two easy coats. Application was effortless, courtacy of the perfect formula which self levelled well and dried very quickly. It also had a great brush size.
I have taken two photos of Amethyst, one showing one coat and the other showing two coats. How many coats you apply depends on what finish you're looking for. One coat leaves a more glittery finish, whereas two coats leaves a fuller, less glittery finish.
This polish will be released on Pineapple Polish's website on Boxing Day for a special of $5, however after Boxing Day it will be the regular price of $8 (either way it's a bargain!).

Last up I have "Aquamarine", a gorgeous aqua polish with scattered green glitter. This polish was opaque in two smooth coats. Application was effortless due to the perfect formula which self levelled well and dried very quickly. I didn't have to clean up around my cuticles as the brush size was easy to paint with, which is a huge bonus! However, this polish did faintly stain my cuticles when I removed it as it's so pigmented, but with a bit of acetone and a cotton bud, it was off in no time.
Aquamarine dried slightly textured as an effect of the glitter, which gave it a stunning finish. I know I may say this a lot about different colours, but this is my favourite blue polish I own! Whenever people ask me what my favourite colour is I can never describe it, but this colour perfectly shows it.
This polish will be released on Pineapple Polish's website on Boxing Day for a special of $5, however after Boxing Day it will be the regular price of $8 (either way it's a bargain!).

I was extremely impressed with Pineapple Polish's trio! This was the first time I've tried their polishes, and they've set extremely high standards. Each polish had excellent formulas that were chip resistant without any top coat. I commend Jess (maker of Pineapple Polish) for creating her polishes 8-free, cruelty free, vegan and hand-crafted (she doesn't even use an electric mixer!). Her polishes are also affordable, selling at only $8! I would definitely recommend her polishes as they are 8-free, cruelty free, great quality and affordable.
As I've mentioned, Pineapple Polish are having a Boxing Day sale where their polishes will be reduced to only $5, so make sure you set a reminder to have a look at her items while they're even cheaper than usual!

Words can't express how impressed I was by Polish Envy's polishes! It's a big call, but they'd have to be my new favourite nail polish brand, the quality and formula of each polish was perfect. They were the longest lasting polishes I've ever used, I literally tried hacking at my nail to see if the polish would chip and it didn't budge. The colours were so unique, and affordable. They're also 5 Free, which means I can wear their polishes without the worry of any nasty chemicals. I highly recommend these polishes, you should definitely check out Polish Envy's website.

Coral Colours Review

Coral Colours first launched its colour cosmetics range in 1989. Since then, we have continued to be a major part of the Australian pharmacy business supporting Australian and New Zealand pharmacies exclusively. We are proudly Australian owned with our corporate headquarters based in Melbourne.

•••

First up I have "Shroom", an elegant nude polish. This polish was opaque in three easy coats. Shroom applied smoothly to the nail, however I had to put in more effort to make the polish level, compared to usual. I love the brush of this polish, it makes applying so much easier! The formula was a little thinner than I would've liked, but other than that it was flawless.
I always love a good nude polish, they don't pop right in your face but they're still slightly noticeable, perfect for everyday wear.
You can find this polish on Coral Colours' website, or in selected pharmacists for $5.95.

Coral Colours have highly impressed me, yet again! This round of polishes included two one coaters, which is very uncommon. I also just found out that their products are cruelty free (they aren't tested on animals), which made me love their polishes even more than before! The formula of each polish was flawless, and the brush sizes were perfect. Each of these polishes were also long lasting and had a glossy finish!

Coral Colours Review

Today I'll be reviewing some gorgeous polishes that Coral Colours were kind enough to send me to review.

Coral Colours first launched its colour cosmetics range in 1989. Since then, we have continued to be a major part of the Australian pharmacy business supporting Australian and New Zealand pharmacies exclusively. We are proudly Australian owned with our corporate headquarters based in Melbourne.

First up I have "Mystique", a stunning nude with a subtle pink shimmer. This polish was opaque in two easy coats. Mystique applied smoothly to the nail and self levelled well. I absolutely love the brush of this polish, it makes applying effort less! It also dried very quickly.
This is one of my all time favourite polishes, the colour and formula is flawless.
You can find this polish on Coral Colours' website, or in selected pharmacists for $5.95.

Next I have "Berry Me", a gorgeous shiny red polish. This polish was opaque in two easy coats. Berry Me applied smoothly to the nail and self levelled well. Applying this polish was effortless, courtesy of the amazing formula and brush size. It also dried very quickly.
I was worried this polish was going to stain my nails as most red polishes do, but I was presently surprised when I removed the polish to find my nails were perfectly fine!
You can find this polish on Coral Colours' website, or in selected pharmacists for $5.95.

Next I have "Pink Fandango", a fandango pink with a stunning shimmer. This polish was opaque in two easy coats. Pink Fandango applied smoothly to the nail and self levelled well. Application was effortless, all thanks to the perfect brush size and formula. It also dried very quickly.
You can find this polish on Coral Colours' website, or in selected pharmacists for $5.95.

Next I have their Base Coat. This base coat applied effortlessly to the nail and self levelled well. I used this with my most pigmented polish, that has stained my nail blue/green every single time I used it, and for the first time it didn't! My nails were perfectly normal after I removed the polish, all thanks to this base coat. I will definitely be using this when doing swatches to prevent staining.
You can find this polish on Coral Colours' website, or in selected pharmacists for $7.95.

Base Coat

•••
Last of all I have their Nail Glaze. This nail glaze (most commonly known as a top coat), applied efforlessly on top of other polishes, however it slightly dissolved some of the base polish (in this case, Mystique). Nevertheless, it gives the polish underneath a stunning glossy shine that tops off any manicure! This top coat prevented my manicure from chipping, which is amazing if you want a longer lasting mani.
You can find this polish on Coral Colours' website, or in selected pharmacists for $7.95.

Coral Colours have not let me down. I loved each and every product they sent me, you'll definitely see more of these polishes on my Instagram account! The formulas were flawless, and their polishes have the best brushes I've ever tried. The bottles are also good because they hold 15mL's of polish, unlike other brands who charge you more, yet you get less polish. Coral Colours' polishes are also affordable, starting from $4.95.

Barry M Review

Hi there! I've been wanting to start up a blog for a long while now, and I've finally made one! Here I'll be reviewing nail related products, in my honest opinion.
Feel free to ask me any questions by emailing me or asking me on my Instagram page: https://www.instagram.com/nails.by.hayley/ .

•••

Here I have some gorgeous polishes by Barry M. Barry M is the leading British colour cosmetics company. Founded in 1982, Barry M is famous for its wide range of colourful, cruelty free, on trend products and is dedicated to offering high quality at affordable prices.

•••

First up I have "Coconut" from their Gelly Hi Shine collection. This is a very creamy white polish, with a gorgeous shiny finish. It reminds me of the typical white French tip shade, as it's not deep white. It applied smoothly to the nail and self levels well. This isn't that perfect one coater that we all look for, however it is at full opacity in two generous coats.

This shade can be found at your local Big W store for just $9.95!

•••

Next up I have "Sugar Apple" from their Gelly Hi Shine collection. This is a gorgeous mint green polish, with a stunning shiny finish. Sugar Apple reached full opacity in 2-3 generous coats. It applies smoothly to the nail and self levels well. This is my favourite Barry M product I own, it's just stunning.
This shade can be found at your local Big W store for just $9.95!

Sugar Apple

•••

Here I have "Sugar Plum" from their Gelly Hi Shine collection. This is a bubblegum pink polish, with a perfect shiny finish. This polish surprised me by how opaque it was, it was fully opaque in 1 coat, which I've never experienced with a pink polish! 2 coats just brought out a slightly brighter pink, but no big difference. Sugar Plum applied smoothly to the nail and self levelled well.
This gorgeous shade can be found at your local Big W for just $9.95!

Sugar Plum

•••

Next I have "Mermaid" from their Aquerium collection. This is a stunning flakie polish featuring flakes of blue, green and gold. I personally like to use this polish at a top coat (as shown), but I imagine it would look fabulous sponged on if your looking for a fuller/more opaque look. I used 1 coat painted like you would a normal top coat on top of Sugar Apple. Mermaid took a while to apply evenly across the nail, however you can use a toothpick to pick up individual flakes for perfect placement.
You can find this shade (and Sugar Apple) at your local Big W store for just $9.95!

Mermaid

•••

Next up I have "Eat My Dust" from their Speedy collection. This is a arctic blue polish, with an amazing shiny finish. I didn't imagine this polish would be shiny, but it was full of surprises. This polish dried super quick, perfect for on the go moments. It was fully opaque in 2 generous coats. This polish applied very smoothly and evenly to the nail, as it has a wider brush than the others.
You can purchase this stunning blue at your local Big W for just $9.95!

Eat My Dust

•••

Last I have "Berry Cosmo" from their Classic collection. This is a dark burgundy polish with an amazing shiny finish, the shiniest of all my Barry M polishes! This polish applied smoothly and evenly to the nail, and was opaque in 1-2 generous coats. This reminded me of another polish they sent to me previously, 'Vintage Violet'.
You can find this shade at your local Big W for just $9.95!

Berry Cosmo

Barry M is my favourite nail lacquer, I'll definitely be working with these polishes a lot on my Instagram page! All the polishes I reviewed had perfect formulas, and self levelled well. Barry M polishes are a bit thicker than most lacquers, however I loved that, as I hate polishes that are too thin! Most polishes were fully opaque in 1-2 easy coats, and were quite pigmented.
I highly recommend these products, they definitely won't let you down.
